Marshall Peppelman is a 2010 graduate of Central Dauphin High School and a graduate of Cornell University and Lehigh University. At Central Dauphin, Marshall was a four-time PIAA Class AAA state finalist and the only three- time PIAA state champion for Hall of Fame head coach Jeff Sweigard. In 2007, Peppelman, a freshman, was pinned in the 130- pound championship finals by Middletown senior Tyler Nauman in 5:00. Peppelman won his first state title in 2008 when he dominated Belle Vernon’s Don Tasser in the 140 lb. gold medal match-up, 9-1. In 2009, as a junior, Peppelman defended his state title when he blanked Bradford’s Mark Havers in the 152-pound title bout, 8-0. Marshall became a three-time state champion after pinning West Allegheny’s Troy Reaghard in 3:02 of their 160-pound final. During his Ram career, Marshall captured three Beast of the East tournament titles and four consecutive Powerade Tournament championships. He was also a two-time Super 32 Challenge champion. Marshall was selected as a member of the Wrestling USA/Cliff Keen 2010 High School Dream Team and was selected to represent Team Pennsylvania in the Dapper Dan Wrestling Classic where he defeated Ohio’s Nick Sulzer, 1-0. He posted a remarkable 173-7 won-loss record and finished a perfect 96-0 in his final two years in high school. He was a three-year letterwinner at Cornell where he qualified for the 2012 NCAA Championships and posting a 73-50 record.
