Matt is a 2001 graduate of Blue Mountain High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. At Blue Mountain, Feast was a two-time PIAA medalist, finishing 4th in 2000 and capturing the state championship in 2021, both at the heavyweight class. As a junior in 2000, Feast dropped a 3-0 overtime decision in the quarter finals to eventual state champion Jon Sauve from Cumberland Valley before placing fourth. The following year in 2001, Feast won the PIAA title, defeating Susquehannock sophomore Adam LoPicolo in the finals, 10-5. Feast won the 2001 Junior Nationals at Fargo as in both Greco-Roman and Freestyle. Feast enrolled at Penn’s Wharton School of Business and immediately became a starter at heavyweight for the Quakers. After finishing fourth in the EIWA tournament in 2002, Feast won three consecutive EIWA heavyweight championships in 2003, 2004 and 2005. At the NCAAs, Feast achieved All-America honors three times, finishing 7th in 2003, 5th in 2004 and 6th in 2005.  Feast’s posted 118 career victories, which at the time was second in the Penn record books. He captained the team during his junior and senior seasons. In the classroom, Feast was named to the national All-Academic team three times by the National Wrestling Coaches Association, as well as Academic All-Ivy accolades three times. As a senior he received the University’s Class of 1915 award that is given annually to the male senior who most closely approaches the ideal Penn student-athlete and who has shown outstanding athletic, academic and leadership qualities.
