Biff is a 1994 graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany High School and a 1999 graduate of Penn State University with a degree in special education.  He was a four-time District 6 and Northwest Regional champion in 1991 – 1994.  He was a four-time PIAA state qualifier, winning Class AA state titles in 1992 & 1993 and placing 4th in 1994.  He finished his high school career with a 137-7 won-loss record with 70 career pins.  At Penn State, Walizer earned four varsity letters from 1995-1999 and placed four times in the Big Ten Championships (3rd in 1996 and 1997, 2nd in 1998 and 7th in 1999). In his senior season for the Nittany Lions, Walizer achieved All-America honors, placing 8th in the NCAA Tournament held at Penn State. Walizer finished his collegiate career with a 101-61 won-loss record with 31 pins.  Following graduation from Penn State, he took over the coaching reins at Red Lion High School, a position he held for 12 seasons with a 139-65 record.  In In 2015, Walizer moved back to central Pennsylvania to become head coach at Central Mountain High School.  He’s coached a pair of PIAA state champions in Dalton Perry (2022) and Luke Simcox (2023).  Biff Walizer was inducted into the District 6 Wrestling Hall of Fame as a wrestler in 2015.
