All-Academic Recognition
HONORING STUDENT ATHLETES
Each year, the PWCA selects an All-Academic Team of student athletes who excel both on the mat and academically. Students are honored by being selected for First Team, Second Team, and Honorable Mention. Eligibility and criteria for nomination are listed below. The nomination period typically ends on the last day of March each year.

ALL-ACADEMIC NOMINATION PROCESS - CLOSED
ELIGIBILITY
Any current high school senior wrestler who is enrolled in a public or accredited private school in PA. Has attained a 2.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA) non-weighted based on a 4.0 scale for the three previous academic years (Grades 9, 10, and 11). And are planning to continue their education beyond high school in an accredited institution of higher education or a technical school.
CRITERIA FOR NOMINATION
The following are criteria for nomination:

Student is a sophomore, junior, or senior in high school.

A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a non-weighted scale.

Wrestler's 2023-2024 season varsity record of .600 or better.
-
Wrestled a minimum of 15 varsity matches this season.

Completed nomination form, including school information, submitted by March 31, 2024.

Transcripts from school's guidance department emailed:
